Who is an antichrist?

I did not say who is the Antichrist, but an Antichrist, there is a difference.

I do not claim to know who the Antichrist is or will be, Many men in power have been an antichrist, there are many in the political arena today that are an antichrist, but only one will be the Antichrist, this is about the spirit of antichrist, which is part of all those that deny Jesus Christ. There are only three ways to go, and only one is right.

 

 

1 John 2:22-23

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

 

1 John 4:3

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

 

What type of spirit are you?

 

I remember sitting on a gigantic pipe that crossed a river bed like a bridge. A friend and I I were looking up into the dark night and wondering about the meaning of life. My friend asked me if I believed in God, I said I did and he didn't say whether he did or not.

Reference the parable of the Sorrow in Matthew Chapter 13;

 

I see people arguing on line a lot about whether God exists or not, and both sides are convinced they are right. I came to believe in God with basic faith, and a lot of Christians come to God on just faith, but what happens is many have no root, no basis, not substance to their faith and an atheist can come along and easily talk them out of their faith with theories that cannot be proven, and squash someone's faith. Many of these become atheists themselves and tell how they once believed but found science but really they felt persecution because of their faith and turned away. This is the first kind of Christian that Jesus spoke about in his parable of the sower. Have you known an atheist that was once a believer and and now they attack Christianity, they seem to know quite a bit of scripture, yet they twist it to their own destruction. These are those that are not willing to give up their sin, they enjoy the cares of this life too much and fight God tooth and nail, they try and convince believers to the point of fighting with them pushing their poison down our throats, they keep coming at you, why because they feel if the can convince you, then perhaps God isn't real, and deep down they know he is. For a moment, when they've defeated Christian that isn't rooted in their faith and they will feel triumphant but it doesn't last and they are once again in search of another believer to turn away from God to ease their own guilty conscience. Watch how many angry atheists comment. For if they were completely sure of the poison they spew out of their mouths none of what I say would bother them. The first type the stony ground, this will not phase them, they didn't build up much faith and were easily talked out of it. But the second the weeds which choked the word will come against this in rage with all kinds of theories and a plethora of what they believe is absolute truth, and is actually absolute garbage, but they are grasping at straws and desperately need that assurance that the bible is incorrect. They say they want proof, but what they actually want is to fill justified. The third fell on good ground, these are those that get into the word and are unmovable, the ones the atheists call close minded. Yet it is the atheist that is blind and cannot see

I CORINTHIANS 1:10

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

 

I've been accused of causing Division. I want to tell people that I have been trying to focus people on the word of God. Divisions already exist and have since the first century. God doesn't want us to vary on theories about Jesus, about the rapture, about who Jesus is, about tithing, about baptism, about the infilling of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues, to be of a single mind and let there be no divisions. That we speak the same things.

 

MATTHEW 24:9-14

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

 

I believe that more and more persecution will come to those that speak the truth, yes, you will be shunned, you will be put out, you will be threatened, you'll lose friends, you'll lose family members, you'll lose relationships. This will come more and more from people that claim to be Christians.

 

MATTHEW 10:34-36

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

 

I have found more bias within the church than without. I do believe in unity

 

EPHESIANS 4:4-6

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

 

But we cannot come together and say it's okay if you believe a lie as long as we both believe that Jesus died and rose again, it's okay.

 

instead we are told to do this:

 

II TIMOTHY 4:1-4

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

 

Why would it matter?

 

MATTHEW 7:13-14

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

 

This is not a legalistic doctrine, this is simply saying that there is only one way. That way is in the bible. There are many denominations, but thankfully one bible. There are many Christians that say many different things. But there again is one bible, one truth, only one way to be saved, not by human words. It doesn't matter what any person tells you, let God be true and every man a liar, believe your bible and no one else, not even me. Trust God and his word, alone. There are many translations, but the basic Christian truths are in all translations. What I fear are those, and there are Christians even that do not trust the word of God. I say don't trust your preacher, trust God's word, I say don't trust what anyone has to say, trust the bible. Put God's word above your Church, above your pastor, above your priest, above your rabbi, your teacher, your mentor, minister, your boss, your friends, and even your parents and your relationships.

 

MATTHEW 7:21-23

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Biblical Marriage: What is it?

MATTHEW 19:3-9

The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

 

There certainly are grounds for divorce or break up, cheating, abuse (physical or emotional) and neglect. although according to scripture it's only fornication. But I have never known anyone that was abused or neglected that wasn't also being cheated on. And certainly dating is a way of interviewing potential candidates for marriage. However people in our day and age will date for years. This is not a biblical concept. And is definatley a lack of committment, and would in my view be fornicators. I've known people that were incredible, then the minute they got married they changed from Dr. Jeckel into Mr. Hyde, or Ms Hyde. So, while your in this early stage of dating this would be your trial period. During a trial period, things such as planning for the future, talking about marriage, sex, children or your partners children should not be part of this trial period. I've dated women that had a problem with my kids. And were constantly telling me what I should be doing with them and yet their own kids were unruley. I personally don't think the children should be brought into the relationship til you know for sure. The children don't deserve for you to allow them to get attached to someone and you drop them and break there hearts too. That, I think, is cruel. The problem is we tend to cross these boundries early on in a relationship. That is why people should wait. Wait to bring kids in, wait to have sex. Sex should be in a committed relationship only. My belief is based on this. People didn't used to date, this is a modern concept. What happened was you went in and slept with the woman you were intended to be with and she was your wife. Marriage does not take effect until consummation. The marriage ceremony is a party, however according to Jewish wedding ceremony and the Ketubah, or marriage contract, which is read in the original language. The husband accepts certain marital responsibilities, such as the provision of food, shelter and clothing for his wife, and promises to care for her emotional needs as well. (wow is this one sided) This contract is so important that the marriage ceremony is not complete until it is signed by the groom and presented to the bride. This demonstrates that both husband and wife see marriage as more than just a physical and emotional union, (at least for the man) but also as a moral and legal commitment. The Ketubah is also signed by two witnesses, and considered a legally binding agreement. It is forbidden for Jewish couples to live together without this document. For Jews, the marriage covenant symbolically represents the covenant between God and his people, Israel. But again this is man way. And the Jews built so many fence laws (Mark 7:13) I believe that when a man and woman have sex they have consummated marriage and are married. Common law, or an informal marriages have long since been recognized in both religious and in society in general. Fornication is casual sex between two people that either have not interest in a relationship or see their relationship as just a fling or part time flesh party. The newer translations call it sexual immorality. Any sex that is not between a man and woman in a commited relationship would be deemed fornication. I do believe in having a marriage ceremony, I do believe in rings, in the legal status and I want that. I do believe legally it's beneficial. I do believe that a couple should But what if situation, circumstances, finances or anything else prevent a couple from being legally married but their committment is there? I believe that if a man and woman have sex they are married and if they break up and start a new relationship that invovles sex, they are committing adultry. If a man and woman however just have sex and are not in a relationship, I do believe that they have committed fornication.

 

I can honastly say that it doesn't matter what I think, what anyone else thinks religious or not, only what God thinks. "Let God be true and every man a liar!" (Romans 3:4)

 

We cannot think or guess the mind of God. Or rely on our own interpretation of the word of God.

 

II PETER 1:20-21

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

 

ROMANS 13:1-2

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

 

This verse is not speaking about marriage but about obeying the laws of the land, which can be argued apply to the act of marriage. It can also be argued here that soon homosexual marriage may sadly soon become a reality. Does that mean because we are subject to the laws of the land that this should apply? Or about taking the mark when the bible clearly teaches that those that do so will lose their soul. Jesus said in Matthew that moses, not God, gave a writing of divorce because of the hardness of our hearts. But Jesus tells us that if we marry another, unless they cheated on you, null and voids it and thus your new marriage is adulterous. Not so with man's law. Which allows divorce on just about any grounds, plain and simply said because one partner wants out of the marriage contract. It can also be argued that in our culture today Two people that live in seperate locations are even together and have a committed relationship that that relationship would be seen as marriage in the eyes of God. I believe that the same rules apply. There is cleary a difference between having casual sex with multiple parnters and having sex in a committed relationship. I am not trying to make excuses not to get married, but to show you that there are none. That if your living as a couple, having sex and in a relationship, legal or not you are married, and thus the same rules apply. You can't slide in someones bed, or heart, and be unaccountable. Yes we all make mistakes, but we need to STOP, recognize our mistake, and STOP doing it.

 

 

I very much believe that sex should not be part of any relationship until you are committed. Which is hard to say. Because today someone can say I love you one minute and then break your heart the next. And there are no binding laws even in a legal marriage, you can get married and divorced in a month. And even though you have made a covenant. Let's look at the word covenant. I had to review what marriage means. It is a contract. And any contract is to be witnessed. Such as Naomi to Boaz in Ruth 4:9-12. A witness doesn't have to be as we know it signed by two or three witness'. But rather witnessed by any two or three people that know said couple. Yes we know that they are together.

 

Salvation is made very clear in scripture marriage, except that it's between a male and a female, is not. It is best to say, and safest to say, for both you your parnter and your children that one should rely on being legally married according to the law specific to your county, state, or country, unless it goes against the word of God. Certainly Christians will marry during the tribulation, when we may lose our rights as citizens, when a marriage wouldn't be considered legal, but what truly matters is that you are married in the eyes of God.

The Gay lie

 I see young guys get boxed into a lie because they are not the most masculine guys around. Okay gay, or homosexuality is a topic I normally try and avoid. It seems to make people on both sides angry. I don't really care if anyone is gay. Though I am rather astonished that something that used to be so taboo is almost main stream, and knowing someone that is gay is becoming common place. More over it's being pushed in films and in our faces more than ever before. Lesbianism, at least that I've noticed even seems to be encouraged, from tv shows, to posters at Spencers, to movies and the media. Some people think homosexuals should be allowed to marry and have the same rights as heterosexual (straight) marriages. Whats up with that? This is not a good thing, I am against this, but this is not the topic of discussion. I personally don't have anything against homosexuals or bisexuals, but I totally disagree with their lifestyle, I believe it's against God, the bible and Christianity as a whole. I don't believe there are any loop holes or any other thing that makes this okay. There are images even in women's magazines that promote lesbianism, they are put in their to leave a mark in your mind, so that one day the when your frustrated with the oppasite sex the idea doesn't seem so taboo, and maybe okay. This is how Satan works, he plants little seeds and we think nothing of it. We need to stand up and say something because this is causing people to commit a dreadful sin that can ultimately cause them to lose their soul. With songs like Katy Perry's introducing the thought to pre-teens across the globe like a virus. Satan will first get your guard down thinking that it's okay for those that choose that lifestyle, God is forgiving. Yes God is forgiving, but this is spitting on the cross. Jesus died and shed his blood to save you from sin, not just the consequence of sin. Sin can still take you down.

ROMANS 6:15-16

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

I don't think it's any greater sin than a than say adultry, but worse than just fornication. Why? There are Christians that believe that all sins are equal. But not all sins were called abominable, nor were all punishable by death, but adultry and homosexuality were. Some people say all sin is the same in the eyes of God. This is not true, this particular sin is is called an abomination, but so is divorce, though divorce was not punishable by death. I believe adultry is an equal if not worse sin, so if you've committed homosexual adultry, your sin is even greater. Then you get divorced on top of it, wow, it's not just one sin, they are piling up. Kind of like the chains on old Marleys' ghost in Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.

Sexual sins are the only sins that the bible says are sins which we actually commit against ourselves and our own bodies.

I CORINTHIANS 6:18

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Fornication (casual sex) was a sin, but not punishable by death, though homosexuality was according to the law of moses. I feel I should also note, that homosexuality would also fall into fornication, adultry and the like. But unlike homosexual sex, heterosexual sex sanctified by marriage. This doens't include open marriages, threesomes or swinging. If you have sex with anyone other than or espoused, you've committed adultry, even if your spouse is okay with it. God is not.

HEBREWS 13:4

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

I CORINTHIANS 7:2

to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

JUDE 1:7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Sodom and Gomorrha were an example of what will take place at the end. Again don't be fooled.

I know I've blogged about this before, it's is a subject that offends me, and bothers me. It seems as though people are so afraid of offending people they wonnt back up the word of God.

GALATIANS 1:10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

MATTHEW 10:32-33Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

I've dated women that have dabbled in it, I cannot tell you how much that is "not" what I want in a woman, and I've had crushes on women that I found out were either lesbian or bi, and that is displeasing, and disturbing. Guys that are gay, not so much a bother to me, less competition. But I hate the subject being thrown in my face, I wont say anything till it's shoved in my face, then yes I'll say something. I must admit I don't like being around a guy that I know is bi or gay, but I have had a few lesbian friends.

The one thing I think is funny, is the stereotype of the gay man. Many people only view the femmy guy that acts stupidly girlie, with a funny lisp and is the receiver in the homosexual act to be gay. This is very irritating, and very wrong. For most sins you had to bring and offering to the priest, but for homosexuality and adultry, the punishment was death. It was not to be tolerated. This is a sin that God will not tolerate. There are many cultures that believe the only person that is gay, and not to be gross, is the the retardedly girlie gay that is the receiver in the sex act. This what the discussion was based upon. The fact is there are a whole lot of guys that can't take it but will dish it out, that do not consider themselves gay, or that they are committing a sinful or homosexual act. Lets see what the bible says about that.

The bible says this:

LEVITICUS 20:13If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Did you read that, both of them have commited an abomination, and both are sentenced to death. So even the guy, or masculine or giver in the homosexual act is guilty of homosexuality. And according to the law is to be put to death. wow. strict! Again this is a subject that God takes very seriously. So don't be fooled.

This was a sin that, under the law, was a death sentence. Adultry was also a death sentence. Sorry I'm repeating this, but this must sink in...

LEVITICUS 20:10And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Both of them again.

So let me tell you this is not something that God takes lightly. But God sent his son that whoseover believes in him should not perish. I'm sure you know that scripture it's the most famous scripture JOHN 3:16. This is where grace comes in. Through Jesus Christ, and only Jesus Christ, I might add, God gives us a second chance.

JOHN 8:1-10Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

MATTHEW 12:31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

This is wonderful news, just as Jesus told the woman, caught in the act of adultry, which was a crime punishable by death, according to the law God gave to moses. Your sins are forgiven, go and sin no more. That is what he is offering to you and everyone else. All sins done in the flesh are forgiveable, there is only one unforgiveable sin, and this is not that.

I CORINTHIANS 6:9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

The last two mentioned are the giver and the receiver of the homosexual act. The effeminate is the sodemite, the receiver of the homosexual act. The abuser of themselves with mankind is the giver, the masculine in the homosexual act. This is the new testament and as you can plainly see both are condemned even in the period of grace. So sin nor more. Repent and turn away from this horrible sin.

Just to note, effeminate has nothing to do with how the man acts, it is refering to this persons act of homosexuality. I've been called girlie and feminine, but this has nothing to do with being gay. I am male and straight, but is rather refering to the sexual act being committed. There are some extremley masculine gay men, and some extremley feminine lesbians.

There are those that claim, there is nothing in the bible that talks about lesbianism, (female homosexuality). Look back at I CORINTHIANS 6:18 the apostle here is saying if a man commits fornications he is sinning against his own body, it doesn't take a genius to figure out here that this also applies to women, but for the pervert out there that is looking for any loopholes, any excuse, or just any reason to get away with this perversion: ROMANS 1:26-27for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly

UNSEEMLY (unbefitting, inappropriate, improper)

You will notice the scripture here tells us that even the women did change the natural use to that which is against nature. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that either.

So no matter how much Katy Perry tells us how she kissed a girl and liked it, it's improper, against nature and against God.

Here is a prophecy about the last days written to Timothy a pastor from Paul the apostle

II TIMOTHY 2:1-7This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Many argue this point but you can see clearly on the fourth line "Without natural affection." We are seeing all these prophecies fullfilled increasingly every day.

There is a warning in scripture:

II THESSALONIANS 2:11-12And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

again

ROMANS 1:21-27 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly,

Be careful, for we live in a time of great deception. If you have not a love for the truth, but have pleasure in unrighteousness, God could send you a strong delusion to believe a lie, maybe he already has, I hope that you can see that, and your not yet deceived by this big lie that the world is dishing out...

People are not born gay, God doesn't create anyone to be gay. But sin does have control over their lives and they are blind and cannot see the truth.

II CORINTHIANS 4:3-4But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

But now you've been warned! Go and sin no more. This is the key to this, yes, come to Christ, make him the Lord of your life. But stop sinning. Remember Jim Carrey in Liar, Liar, When his secretary hands him the phone and says this client wants some legal advice and he states, "Stop breaking the law," well, stop sinning.

In a previous blog I talked about mistakes. I did not talk about sin, Not every mistake is a sin, most probably are not. And to live in condamnation is surely not God's will. Having that extra bite, or eating too much is not a sin, but it can become that. Drinking alcohol is not a sin, but again can become sin. And even when dealing with sin there are those that say a sin is a sin, this is not true. Some sin's although not good are not as bad as others. Stealing again is a sin, but stealing a bar of soap, or stealing a magazine, or food, is way different than robbing at gun point.

 

In the old testament there were bad sins, that were sins that God would not put up with and you were either banished or stoned til death. In the new testament, thanks to Jesus' death on the cross we have obtained grace. And any sin not matter the degree is pardonable, there is only one offense that is not redeemable. To blasphme the gift of God the Holy Ghost.

 

Before I go on, what in fact is sin? One could say that sin was breaking the law of God, just as one could break a human law and deal with a swift punishment for breaking that law. Here comes grace. God will not punish you for your sin, there is however a condition, that you turn to God, that you turn away from your sin. No matter the degree of the sin.

 

I must say there are those and there are churchs that portray everything as sin. Like I said somethings in moderation are not sin, such as consumption of alcohol, but to be a drunk, is very much a sin. If your life is about the next party and drinking is your escape then yes you are sinning. Sex is not a sin, though the bible says that the marriage bed is undefiled, but the fornicators and adulterers God will judge. And marriage is not defined by man, but by God. Going to concerts is not a sin, watching movies, even having and watching television is not a sin. Though what you watch may be, the bible does say put no evil before your eye, which to me says use descretion and keep kids from watching things which are not good for them and may cause them to sin. Being tempted is not sinning, having fun is not a sin. Dancing is not a sin, and so on and so forth, sin is not God's way of controlling us, but rather sins are those things which control us and keep us from God.

 

 

 

Sin in itself is very powerful, sin is a task master. Sin can overcome and control it's victim. Sin is like the blob, it's sits there, waiting, the devil comes along and show's us how neat sin is to play with, and when we do, sin acts very submissive and if we throw it away right away ther are no lasting effects. But if we keep it and don't get rid of it it will, although very subtle, take you over.

 

Drug addiction, any addiction for that matter. Alocoholism, homosexuality, promiscuis, are all form of addiction.

 

ROMANS 6:16

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

 

Sin is an entity, not just an action. It will lie to you and keep you bound. It's a tool of Satan, and is very real.

 

HEBREWS 3:12-13

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

 

There is only one cure for sin, that is through Jesus Christ. He came to brake the bonds of sin to heal the broken hearted and to set the captives free. What captives? Those made captive by sin.

 

ACTS 2:36-39

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

 

 

Saints and Sinners

We think of a Saint as someone that does good, a goody two shoes if you will, and a sinner as the bad boy, or bad girl. That gets the blood pumping. I was thinking about my last blog, which mentions willfully sinning. Basically saying if we willfully sin after we've been saved. We are not going to be saved. But then we must ask the question was does it mean to willfully sin. It must be noted that most athiests have a religious background and many if not most of them were once Christians and know a great deal about the scriptures. So then what the heck happened? Well there are many answers, but what it comes down to is deception. jesus gives us parables of how the enemy quickly comes up and snatches away the word, or when persecution, because of the word, comes up, that many fall away. I have run into some athiests and I'm sure some of our readers will as well that know scripture, very well. Many have lost their faith because of loss. "How could God let this happen to me," persecution, we live in a time that a growing intolerance for Jesus, the bible, or Christianity is becoming popular. People will today wrap their arms around you if your gay or an alcoholic but if you say your a Christian they will want nothing to do with you. What's up with that? When the bible is speaking of willfully sinning, it's talking about those that were once saved, had been baptized, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and tasted of the world to come. It must be noted that God will not reject you, he will not let go of you. You cannot lose your salvation. But there is no such thing as once saved always saved. You can pry God's fingers away, you can walk away. He will let you go. God will not force you to stay. You can say God I'd rather not, as many have. And give up your salvation, but you can't lose it. Struggling with sin is not turning your back on God. We all make mistakes. Is that an excuse? Should we keep sinning because we have grace. No! We should strive to be better. Now not everything is a sin. I've been in denominations that thought just about everything was sinful. You'd be afraid to walk out your front door. Because the scripture says put no evil before your eye there are those denominations that have said watching TV is a sin. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Why would you not want to put evil before your eye? Because it may cause you to sin. I must admit there is not a whole lot of good on TV, it is full of worldliness, it's full of lust of the flesh, pride of life and everything else. But it's merely a channel. If you have TV use discretion, you know if something is evil. To some if it's fun it's sinful, oh my word, get a life! I grew up hearing how evil rock and roll music was, is it? Rock music is like everything else it can be made good or bad. I must say one thing though, I love edgy music, I love gritty guitars. I love excellent singing. I know that the screamo music is popular, and I do believe their are bands that love the Lord and are trying to use this vehicle to bring kids to Christ. But what I question is the growling and snorting and sounding like a demon as they do in screamo. Your preaching the gospel and sounding like demons. How is that Christian? I don't see the problem with the music, but vocalizing it sounds evil. It sounds like demons! I first heard this music with bands like GWAR, and though I love theatrics and I can see GWAR doing this, they look like demons. Anyway that's my opinion on that. I know there are those that said every Christian band that came out was evil. I'm sure there are those bands that are in the Christian music scene who's Christianity is shallow, but I'm sure there are those that certainly love the Lord, even those that play screamo. But I would sure pray about it. I've heard hardcore Christian bands and it is hard to believe you can call it Christian, not saying that the bands intent is not good. But we must be careful and not let the world come in. This has to be about getting the gospel to the world. We must be a light to them, not the other way around. Back to sin. What is a sinner? For that matter what is a Saint? According to the bible all have sinned. How could all have sinned? We are born into sin. To the non-believer and the novice that might not make much sense. How can we born into sin. Because of original sin. What? Original sin. Sin entered the world by Adam, the first man. I know we like to blame Eve. But God didn't tell Eve. He told Adam. Adam told Eve. And if you read the story in Genesis, Adam was the first to start his own religion. How you might ask? God told Adam this, "Don't eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, or you'll die." We know from Eve's answers to the serpent that she was given a few other rules. Don't look at it, don't go near it, don't think about it, don't, don't don't, don't. Hmmmm, sound familiar? All God said was don't eat it. The serpent was then able to show her the tree, to look at it, hold it, smell it, climb in it, and it was okay. She hadn't done anything wrong, maybe dis-obeying the rules Adam gave her, but she didn't dis-obey God, well until she ate of it. But can you see that how not knowing what the word of God was, Satan was able to give her a delusion that she wasn't doing anything wrong. She touched it after all and nothing happened. Satan knew she had second hand knowledge and twisting what she believed till he got her to sin. But she still didn't bring sin into the world. She was punished for her sin. But because Adam sinned, he condemned all of mankind to Hell, gee thanks Adam! We immediately like to jump up and say how unfair it is that God condemned man to both death and Hell (eternal death) because of one man's sin. If you ever hear someone say, "If it's preached over the pulpit it's a law!" run for your life, or rather your soul. A man or woman that puts they're words before God is doing just what Adam did. This is what caused Jesus to become very upset with the religious leaders of his day. They had put up so many of their own laws that they made God's laws of no effect. Many of the burdens churches place upon their congregation are bi-laws set up either by the denomination, church leaders or pastors. I charge you and every man, woman and child if it's preached over the pul pit you grab your bible and see if God said it or just man. Many times it's just man or man's interpretation of what God said. Read it for yourself. I'm not saying get your own interpretation, but take it for what it says. Not this is what it says, but this is what it means. What's up with that? So in saying that if the bible specifically says something is a sin then you know it's a sin. If not then it's man saying it's a sin. A sinner is someone that breaks God's law. Because Adam broke God's law, we are one, born with the knowledge of good and evil and we also die. And because of sin we are condemned to a sinners death in Hell. Why? Hell was created for the angels that rebelled against God not man. Hell enlarged herself. She grew, she widened those hips out to make room for all us sinners. Sinners turn and hate God for condemning them to Hell. God did not condemn man to Hell. Sin did. Sin broke the relationship, God had with man. A father and son. Why is it Father's and sons don't get along? I didn't get along with my dad and my son doesn't get along with me. I'm not like my Dad and my son is not like me. There is a huge void between us. My son hates me, I don't know why? I've tried to be the cool Dad, I"ve tried to be tough. I failed at both. I have daughters that love me, but my son hates me. He by choice lives away from me and wont speak to me and I for the life of me cannot understand why? But it has made me understand the relationship God has with us. We hate God. God calls out to us and we don't want to talk to him. He blesses us and we curse him. Would you die for your kids? I mean it. Would you die for you kids? How about this, would you die for a child that hated you and wanted nothing to do with you. A child you brought into this world and loved with all your heart. Yet cursed you to your face and wanted absolutely nothing to do with you, wasn't thankful, took what you gave them and trampled it under their feet. Scoffed and mocked you, and even when you pleaded with them they laughed at you? How many actually would. I know some people think God put up his own kid to die for you. But that's not the truth. What God did was wrap himself in flesh for the sole purpose of dying. He was born a man (the son) born to die. He was like a lamb born to die. He offered up a sinless life in order to pay the price of sin. He loved us so much and wanted us back so much he became a man to die a horrible death, to be beaten and mocked and spit on and tortured for you and for me. All because he doesn't want you to go to Hell. Jesus came to earth to save you from Hell. That was his sole purpose. His blood is applied to you when you are baptized in his name. And when you receive the Holy Ghost you receive the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, and when he returns he will change your mortal body to immortal and you will never die. Death will finally be defeated. Sin caused Death, by one man sin entered the world and by one man he defeated death once and for all. But without Jesus we are still condemned to Hell. We need to come to his call, we need to take this offer he has given us. That no matter what we have done, he will wipe it away, paid in full. Your reservation to Hell is cancelled. We have no other hope. If we reject Christ, we die in our sins, we pay for our own sins. The choice is yours.... Let Christ pay for you, or you pay for it yourself with your own soul. Christ doesn't condemn you to Hell, you were already going there, Christ is what can save you from Hell. He's your get out of Hell free card. USE IT!!! It's free! People say that coming to God requires your life, but the truth is sin requires your life, and Christ offers you eternal life. Your not going to die and go to Heaven. Your not going to die and go to Hell. Jesus will give you eternal life or you'll be thrown alive into Hell. You'll wake up from death at the Resurrection either to life eternal or to be cast alive into the fires of Hell. There is a belief that you must obtain saint hood, but saint hood is given to all those that come to Jesus Christ. When the saints come marching in, oh I want to be in that number, oh when the saints come marching in. Don't disregard Jesus Christ, he is the only way out of Hell. When someone says that got saved, they got saved from HELL, plain and simple. Come join the good fight, Christ is calling you today. And to someone that is saved what is willfully sinning? I believe that would be walking away from God. I believe that God will try and bring you back and try and try, but at some point will blot your name from the book of life. Revelations 3:1-5.

When I was barely 20 years old I was already married and had a baby. I remember going to the store one night and It was late. When I came out of the parking lot, which was dead empty at 10pm at night. I heard a voice shout my name. Of course I looked, I was in the middle of a deserted parking lot and there was not a soul around. I didn't know anyone, we just moved to this town it was about 30 miles away from my mother, and my overbearing in laws. Her dad never liked me, but the feeling was mutual. He was this preachers son that preached at me, and I hated it.

 

Something happened to me, I was trying to write a book, a horror story about a rock band that had to face off the devil. So I thought, how would you defeat the devil, so I picked up the bible one day, and I couldn't put it down. I was entranced, I came alive. I couldn't put it down. I became hungry to hear about Jesus Christ, who was this man. Was he a man, was he the son of God, was he a prophet, or was he in fact God. I remember talking with everyone, every religion, and of course all of them say, we're right, every denomination. Who was right? Is this a story, it had a huge effect on me. I was at work some guy named javier told me about the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues and told me to read Acts 2:38 and I did, so I wanted this Holy ghost. I'd talk to this person and that, this person saying this thing, that person saying that, so I just stuck to praying and reading, I was all mixed up.

 

I followed the scriptures instructions not men's, not women's, people can lie to you. But God hadn't lied to me yet. I went to a church and said baptize me I want the holy ghost, they looked at me like a freak. I was sad I couldn't find a church, I wanted to be baptized. I wanted the Holy ghost. I was looking at my rock tapes one day, music was my escape, my wife was at work and I was taking care of the baby. we worked oppasite shifts. The baby was sleeping and I became focused on a tape of a popular Christian metal band of the time, and I heard a voice speak to me and it said, "I want you to do this," nothing more, nothing less. I hadn't ever thought of doing a Christian band. I'd written a couple Christian songs, but then I knew. I hadn't gone been going to church, I'd went to a church that a friend said they'll baptize you, so I did. And was baptized, but I hadn't received the Holy Ghost. Not yet.

I hadn't received the Holy Ghost, I was having bible studies with a man named Oscar, very nice man. very patient. I remember praying and praying and nothing ever happened. I had a friend that lied to me and I wouldn't forgive him. So one day I forgave him, and that night, I felt like a giant hand pressed on me as I lay in bed. And my face felt weird and my tongue felt fat, and tingled. I went into the bathroom and watched as my tongue kept touching the roof of my mouth from front to back. I wasn't doing it. I had called Oscar, and told him, he said meet him at the church. I said, what is going on? He said that's the Holy Ghost, we prayed, and I felt a rush of wind around me, and I began to sing in a different language I didn't know. The wind was all around me, I reached up saying I love you Jesus, I love you Jesus, and It was a high i'd never felt before, it was better than sex. Then I dropped exhausted to the floor.

 

I felt so excited by what happened I told everyone I knew, my brother told me I had a tumor! my bible thumping in-laws told me it was Satan. My mother was happy for me, but clearly didn't know what to think. I was sent, as a young boy, to a baptist church, but I was never told about this. I was confused, some Christians told me it was the devil, others told me it was God. I felt conflicted. I went out in a field alone and I prayed and I prayed, I asked God is this you, or is it the devil. I was on my knees and my hands began to shake and I felt something in the pit of my stomach burst through my body and out my mouth. It was so powerful that it knocked me on my back, I was speaking in tongues when this was happening, and what burst from my belly were too words, that and the voice was powerful, and not mine, it said, "I AM!" I never doudted it after that.

I hear a lot about Christian unity. It's okay if we disagree as long as we believe in Jesus Christ. Is this true?

 

GALATIANS 1:6-10

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

 

Legalism is one form of false doctrine, observance of mosiac law rather than following Christ, or even modern church by-laws, or strict observance of customs that are not in practice today. Tradition is another form of false doctrine. In a previous blog I talked about how Christianty was blended with traditions brought from pagan religions as well as family customs which are still in use today down to your corner church.

 

Important doctrines as the promise of the Holy Ghost, being reduced to receiving Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Yes, Christ should be your Lord, but what was preached in the first century is not what is being preached in the church today. You will not find of the apostles ever saying this. Merely believing that Jesus Christ is the son of God will not get you into heaven.

 

ROMANS 8:8-11

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

 

This is actual doctrine of receiving Christ: You actually receive his Spirit. The Holy Ghost.

 

ACTS 2:38

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. This is the promise of salvation, of Jesus Christ actually dwelling in you. The true born again experience. Which Jesus said, we must be born again (John 3:3-5).

 

It is agrued that the Church has baptized using the trinitarian formula since the first century. But their is evidence that Baptism solely in the name of Jesus Christ has been done since before that, and the Holy scriptures back it up. The Catholic church was the church of Rome. And they killed, and murdered people that wouldn't accept the trinity. This both true and very well documented. There are novels written though fiction from Thecla a 2nd century presbyter in Asia minor who wrote that baptism was in the name of Jesus.

 

1 JOHN 2:19

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

 

So I ask you, should Christianity unite, yes under a common banner of truth, if they cannot, then no. I am not talking about trivial issues, but about salvational issues. When I have told people I believe that baptism should be in the name of Jesus Christ. I get treated harshly by Christians, it's never good. They come against me in full force, yet this is completely biblical. This can be proven in scripture. Baptism in the trinity formula cannot. Christians that have their mind made up that their is indeed a trinity, say that you are denying the trinity. But I say, after having this knowledge of the truth, they are denying Christ.

 

COLOSSIANS 2:8-9

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

 

I have been accused of causing division and by one leading people away from God. I was told by someone dear to me, why go to church if I am going to disagree with everything they say. Which is totally untrue. If you will read my blogs, I've only ever said, prove them. What does the bible say? The problem is there are far too many people listening to everything the preacher says and not reading what the bible says. We are stuck on what the church says rather than what the bible says. A good example is the pre-tribualation rapture theory, which is totally unbiblical. Yet the majority of Christians believe it today. Yet you cannot find one scripture to support it. Again I'm not saying there is no gathering of the saints. What I am saying is scripture does not support a pre-tribulation rapture. I myself am amazed that most Christians believe this false doctrine. There is actually biblical proof that this event takes place after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31) and most Christians even when seeing this, still don't believe. This is how engrained lies can be be. The scriptures they use to try and prove this theory, when examined further actually disprove a pre-tribulation rapture. As do the scriptures that say one can merely believe and be saved (John 7:37-39). I'm not saying salvation is difficult. It is a free gift. We've just been blinded by the lies for so long that we have come to believe false doctrine. The bibles idea of salvation included repentence, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit evidenced by the speaking of other tongues. This can be biblically proven, yet most Christians will argue salvation with you. One doesn't look into scripture how that when one believed they were immediatly baptized (Acts 2:41, 8:35-38, 10:43-48, 16:31-33, 19:1-6, 22:13-16). A good preacher is going to tell you to look up the scriptures for yourself, a bad one is going to tell you that you'll not be able to understand it, or give you some mystical meaning behind what it says. I say take the bible at face value, what it says is what it means. The truth is division is caused when we don't agree. If you read 2 Corinthians, Paul is trying to point them back to the truth, he is not saying it's okay that we believe different things. As far as speaking in tongues goes, there is a difference between the simple tongue one gets when they receive the Spirit of Christ and the gift of tongues and interpretations. When a tongue is given for an interpretation it is done clear and distinct. When one receives the Spirit it is not clear and distinct, rather fast and just a sign, a symbol that the person was baptized with fire (Matthew 3:11) with the Holy Ghost. (Isaiah 28:11, 1 Corinthians 14:22, Acts 10:44-46, 19:6)

 

 

JOHN 8:31-32

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

 

 

 

II Timothy 4:1-5

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

 

This is actual doctrine of receiving Christ: You actually receive his Spirit. The Holy Ghost.

 

ACTS 2:38

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

 

This is the promise of salvation, of Jesus Christ actually dwelling in you. The true born again experience. Which Jesus said, we must be born again (John 3:3-5).

 

It is agrued that the Church has baptized using the trinitarian formula since the first century. But their is evidence that Baptism solely in the name of Jesus Christ has been done since before that, and the Holy scriptures back it up. The Catholic church was the church of Rome. And they killed, and murdered people that wouldn't accept the trinity. This both true and very well documented. There are novels written though fiction from Thecla a 2nd century presbyter in Asia minor who wrote that baptism was in the name of Jesus.

 

1 JOHN 2:19

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

 

So I ask you, should Christianity unite, yes under a common banner of truth, if they cannot, then no. I am not talking about trivial issues, but about salvational issues. When I have told people I believe that baptism should be in the name of Jesus Christ. I get treated harshly by Christians, it's never good. They come against me in full force, yet this is completely biblical. This can be proven in scripture. Baptism in the trinity formula cannot. Christians that have their mind made up that their is indeed a trinity, say that you are denying the trinity. But I say, after having this knowledge of the truth, they are denying Christ.

 

COLOSSIANS 2:8-9

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

 

I have been accused of causing division and by one leading people away from God. I was told by someone dear to me, why go to church if I am going to disagree with everything they say. Which is totally untrue. If you will read my blogs, I've only ever said, prove them. What does the bible say? The problem is there are far too many people listening to everything the preacher says and not reading what the bible says. We are stuck on what the church says rather than what the bible says. A good example is the pre-tribualation rapture theory, which is totally unbiblical. Yet the majority of Christians believe it today. Yet you cannot find one scripture to support it. Again I'm not saying there is no gathering of the saints. What I am saying is scripture does not support a pre-tribulation rapture. I myself am amazed that most Christians believe this false doctrine. There is actually biblical proof that this event takes place after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29-31) and most Christians even when seeing this, still don't believe. This is how engrained lies can be be. The scriptures they use to try and prove this theory, when examined further actually disprove a pre-tribulation rapture. As do the scriptures that say one can merely believe and be saved (John 7:37-39). I'm not saying salvation is difficult. It is a free gift. We've just been blinded by the lies for so long that we have come to believe false doctrine. The bibles idea of salvation included repentence, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit evidenced by the speaking of other tongues. This can be biblically proven, yet most Christians will argue salvation with you. One doesn't look into scripture how that when one believed they were immediatly baptized (Acts 2:41, 8:35-38, 10:43-48, 16:31-33, 19:1-6, 22:13-16). A good preacher is going to tell you to look up the scriptures for yourself, a bad one is going to tell you that you'll not be able to understand it, or give you some mystical meaning behind what it says. I say take the bible at face value, what it says is what it means. The truth is division is caused when we don't agree. If you read 2 Corinthians, Paul is trying to point them back to the truth, he is not saying it's okay that we believe different things. As far as speaking in tongues goes, there is a difference between the simple tongue one gets when they receive the Spirit of Christ and the gift of tongues and interpretations. When a tongue is given for an interpretation it is done clear and distinct. When one receives the Spirit it is not clear and distinct, rather fast and just a sign, a symbol that the person was baptized with fire (Matthew 3:11) with the Holy Ghost. (Isaiah 28:11, 1 Corinthians 14:22, Acts 10:44-46, 19:6)

 

 

JOHN 8:31-32

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

 

 

 

II Timothy 4:1-5

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

 

II THESSALONIANS 2:11-12

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 

II CORINTHIANS 4:1-6

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ


God is calling you out of babylon, listen to his voice, do not be partakers of her sins.

MATTHEW 7:13-19

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

 

There are two big clues here. One that the way is narrow and few will find it. And that you will know a tree by it's fruit. The latter sounds logical for an apple tree for example will give you apples and oranges from an orange tree. But what this tree is talking about is the difference between a good tree and a bad tree. I guess the odvious question is what is a bad tree? And further more what is a good tree?

 

Jesus gives a warning in verse 19 that every tree that bringeth forth not good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.

 

 

First let us find out what that narrow path is. There are many Christians under the impression that it's okay if we differ in our beliefs as long as we are all Christians. This is a false teaching. There is only ONE way.

 

EPHESIANS 4:1-6

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is ONE body, and ONE Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism, ONE God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

 

The Key word in this lesson is ONE; there is only ONE way. I have before wondered about baptism. For in scripture we find two different baptisms one in Matthew 28:19, and one in the book of Acts 2:38, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, Romans 6:3.

 

How could there be two when in Ephesians 4:5 we are told there is only one baptism. This was so important that in Acts 19:1-6 we find people that were baptized by John the baptist being re-bapitzed in the name of Jesus. As you have noticed by my earlier blogs I am proclaiming that the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ. Which is why the apostles who were all present with Jesus on the day he said those words recorded in Matthew 28:19 obeyed him by baptizing all through the book of Acts in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

 

I am sorry I keep going on about this, but this is that important. Satan has slipped a lie into Christianity that simply confessing or accepting the Lord Jesus as saviour will save your soul.

 

MATTHEW 13:24-30

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

 

I agree that the minimum requirment of knowlegde is to believe beyond the shadow of doudt that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that entitles you to be baptized. But what in fact does it mean that he is the son of God, but that he is God manifest in the flesh. In Acts Chapter 8 beginning at verse 26 the bible tells us of an ethiopian euncuh that was reading the book of Isaiah. The Lord prodding him, Philip walked close to his chariot and asked what he was reading and offered to tell the eunuch in whom the prophet was talking. We don't know what he said to him, but we do know what happend next.

 

ACTS 8:36

And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

 

Nothing was said here of accepting the Lord Jesus as his savior, but Philip does answer the question.

 

ACTS 8:37-38

And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

 

If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. Believing then is what allows us to be saved, but baptism is what saves us.

 

I PETER 3:18-21

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

 

Mankind has replaced baptism with a sinners prayer, but God has not ordained this, but he has ordained baptism. The apostles did not command people to say a sinners prayer, no, but they did command believers to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. It even says what baptism is for in Acts 2:38, it's for the remsission of sins.

 

ROMANS 6:3-5

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

 

Jesus was very clear about the importance of baptism,

 

JOHN 3:3-5

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

 

I am going to say this I believe that those that say all you need to do is believe, or those that believe that you should be baptized repeating the words I baptize you in the name of the father, and in the name of the son, and the in the name of the Holy Ghost, unless they say which is the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, they are giving you bad fruit.

 

Teaching false doctrine is sin, believing false doctrine is believing a lie. Ane the scriptures are clear if we have not a love for the truth .

 

II THESSALONIANS 2:10-12

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

 

False doctrine is unrighteousness.

 

 

God is calling all those sincere believers out of Babylon the great and all ther false teachings.

 

REVELATION 18:4-5

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

 

What then shall we do?

 

Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the REMISSION OF SINS and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (ACTS 2:38)

 

I TIMOTHY 6:1-5

Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

 

A WARNING FROM THE APOSTLE PAUL about preaching anything except what was preached by the apostles themselves and Jesus Christ our Lord written in the pages of the Holy Bible, not what is preached by men today.

 

GALATIANS 1:6-10

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

 

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
